Future of Storytelling
The Future of Storytelling creates a wonderland on a relatively unknown former military base, Snug Harbor in Staten Island NYC. The summit mixes the outdoor world wonder with stories that engage your senses in unexpected ways. The Festival was the world’s largest immersive storytelling event, hosting more than 100 hands-on technology experiences, including VR, AR, and AI experiences, interactive installations, panel conversations with entertainment, media, technology and marketing visionaries, live theater performances, and a multi-person VR theater. We worked to design and produce the attendee journey through the summit into the public festival hosting 1500 attendees a day for three days.
Future of StoryTelling Summit is an intimate, invitation-only event that gathers a stimulating mix of thinkers and practitioners from diverse fields who are shaping the art, science, and business of storytelling in the 21st century. In the spirit of participation and inspiration, the FoST Summit aims to break the fourth wall and make attendees a vital part of the event. Past FoST speakers and performers have included Steven Soderbergh, Margaret Atwood, Al Gore, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Beth Comstock (Vice Chair of GE).
We created, in partnership with Nowhere, The Nowhere Festival in 41 different worlds over the course of three days. Participants included: Chris Gethard, The Feast & Art + People, Robert Siegel, Scott Simon and musician Andrew McMahon. Sponsored by TIMEOUT New York.
Due to the global pandemic the annual Adobe 99U Conference went virtual. Preview Events and collaborators created remote recording kits and transformed Founders Lab fabrication space into a live recording studio.

The Adobe Design Summit brought together Adobe teams from across the world and country to San Francisco. For this networking three-day summit, Preview and Adobe chose Pier 35 and then built a campus from the ground up.
Preview in collaboration with Sunbunker executed and designed a hands-on experiential press tour for ASUS Zenfone AR and their partners Google, Verizon, Qualcomm, and Wayfair in San Francisco (Chandrone Gallery) and New York (Milk Studios).
In New York City at Staten Island’s Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden, FoST Summit & Festival 2017 featured 82 acres of immersive storytelling exhibitions and programming.
A creative collaboration with Little Cinema for TNT’s afterparty for the New York premier of the new TV show “I Am The Night”, starring Chris Pine.
Musicians create from a subconscious place that can not be expressed in a traditional medium. Manifest pairs together musicians and like-minded artists, designers, and engineers to bring to life this cognitive, emotional space through a live performance— inviting audiences to experience a rare physical rendering of a musician’s creative ethos in an intimate setting. In collaboration with THE FAMILY, Sunbunker and Preview Events.
In collaboration with our fabrication partner, Sunbunker, we built, staged, and transported three 20’ x 20’ sets of Game of Thrones, Orange Is The New Black, and Luke Cage from New York to San Diego. Custom trays were made to feature notable food elements from each of the three shows.
In partnership with the LowLine Lab, Preview produced/fabricated The North Face celebration, “50 years of exploration”. The LowLine Lab was a prototype/exhibit showcasing how plant life can be sustainable in an underground park.
We brought together a community of mental health professionals from around the globe for the first annual Future of Therapy Conference. This event fostered conversations among leaders in the digital and traditional mental health therapy fields.

After a successful launch in summer ‘17, Privé Revaux opened their new flagship store in NYC, located in the heart of Times Square, to allow consumers to interact and test the product.
This production was a launch of the seasons past and present collections. Preview created and built shoe sculptures for product display of the various seasons. We also collaborated on the design layout, and built the overall tech and scenic elements of the venue, which was a repurposed school gym on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

Social Innovation Week is a series of exhibitions, demonstrations, and lectures introducing new methods and ideas in energy, design, food, culture, and environment.
The Grace Hopper Celebration is the world's largest gathering of women technologists. Airbnb and Preview created a fun, modern exhibit booth with an open plan to connect with women in the field of coding and technology.
NYC Fashion Week Activation – Preview advanced the conceptual activation to gain traction for their brand and message. We did so by creating #findyoursize, Preview’s customized social media campaign centered around NYC Fashion week and garnered a substantial amount of new followers for Brayola.
For the Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo (FNCE), Preview produced a 30’ x 30’ interactive exhibitor booth that even included a working demo kitchen.
Preview managed and created live experiences at the Lowline Lab. This long-term open laboratory and technical exhibit was designed to test and showcase how the Lowline will grow and sustain plants underground.
